Tees

Tee – connecting element of pipelines, which provides collapsible hermetic connections of three pipes by screwing.

JSC «ZAVOD MIR» produces tees:

• according to OST 1:
  – straight tee with compression nut;
  – straight tee;
• According to GOST:
  – male tee;
  – reducer tee; 
  – straight tee.

Metric threads are used for various types of tees.

Metric – refer to a group of screw threads that are applied to the outer part of the rod. The shape of the grooves and protrusions forms an isosceles triangle. The parameters of this thread are measured in millimeters, which is why it got its name. This type of thread is the most common, most often it can be found using ordinary and anchor bolts.

Depending on the purpose and field of application, tees are made of various metals and alloys:

• quality structural carbon steels – 45
• structural alloyed carbon steels – 30HGSA
• high quality  heat resistant  high-alloy martensitic   class– 13Х11Н2В2МФ (13Х11Н2В2МФ-Ш)
• special corrosion-resistant steel – 12Х18Н9Т
• high tin bronze – Br.AZHMts10-3-1.5
• aluminum alloy – – AK6
• titanium alloys – VT3-1, VT6
